Sustainable air conditioning technology to be commercialized through cleantech partnership between Blue Frontier and Modern Niagara

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida.and OTTAWA (ON), March 3, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Blue Frontier, LLC (BlueFrontierAC.com) and Modern Niagara Group (modernniagara.com) have announced a joint product development, manufacturing and marketing partnership. Blue Frontier is a South Florida cleantech-based start-up that has developed air conditioning technology that is much more efficient than conventional systems. This new air conditioning technology is designed to address all of the main sustainability issues of conventional air conditioning technology: elimination of high global warming potential refrigerants, reduction of energy consumption by up to 90% and displacement of consumption of electricity from the air conditioner so that it is compatible with the periods of renewable energy production. Blue Frontier’s technology is unique because it integrates energy storage and air conditioning into a single device without using conventional batteries. This makes the system’s electricity consumption flexible and controllable so that it only occurs when renewables are plentiful. At the same time, this flexibility does not affect the operation of the air conditioner itself, ensuring the comfort of building occupants.
