Church exhibition extended until December
LAWRENCE – Due to its popularity, the exhibition â175 Years of Lawrence’s Catholic Church History, 1846 to 2021â has been extended until December.
Relics, artifacts and information from the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Mary, St. Anne, St. Augustine, St. Laurent O’Toole, the Sacred Heart and the St. Rosary are on display, as well as objects from certain Protestant churches.
The exhibit is located in the gallery at Lawrence Heritage State Park, 1 Jackson St., and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission.

Match Pentucket Bank donation to ArtSpace
HAVERHILL – Pentucket Bank has pledged a matching grant of $ 50,000 to support the Cogswell ArtSpace project.
As of December 8, the community had raised $ 43,500 in matching donations, with only $ 6,500 to go. December 18 is the last day to match the donation from the bank, however, gifts will still be accepted after this date.
The project has raised $ 2.3 million to renovate the Cogswell School building on South Main Street, but organizers are $ 500,000 away from their goal of $ 2.8 million.
The necessary works include a redesigned heating and air conditioning system, a new fire extinguishing system, new plumbing throughout the 130 year old building, making the building completely accessible to the ADA, including the addition of ‘an elevator, a slate roof renovated to meet historical requirements, and an upgrade of the electrical system.
The goal is to create a space for the arts for the use of the whole community.
The Chamber is hosting a networking event on December 14
ANDOVER – The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business Networking and Vacation Mixer on Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lanham Club.
The event features hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and business card draws for door prizes. The cost is $ 10 for members and $ 20 for non-members.
