Kaikala Satyanrayana actor criticizes fan support

Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanrayana, 86, was admitted to Apollo hospitals in Hyderabad on Saturday morning in critical condition. He was put on a ventilator and is under observation.

A health bulletin issued by the hospital read: “Kaikala Satyanrayana was brought to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills today morning at 7:30 am with fever and drowsiness. He is under respiratory assistance and tracheostomy at home following a post-Covid sequel. He was in severe septic shock and multiple organ failure. Doctors are taking care of him and every effort is made to restore his condition. The condition is very critical and the prognosis and expected results are very poor.

The actor was earlier admitted to hospital on October 30 after his fall in his residence.

On the job front, Kaikala was last seen in NTR Kathanayakudu and Maharshi. Affectionately known as Navarasa Natana Sarvabhouma, he has over 650 films to his name as an actor. He was born on July 25, 1935 in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

Kaikala started her career in 1959 with Sipayi Kuthuru. In 1960, director B Vittalacharya chose him as the antagonist in Kanaka Durga Pooja Mahima. He went on to establish himself as a versatile solo hero, antagonist, and character artist. His acting credits include superhits Sri Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Narthanasala, Yamagola, Soggadu, Adavi Ramudu, Daana Veera Soora Karna, Tayaramma Bangarayya, Vetagadu, Kondaveeti Simham, Subhalekha, Justice Chowdary, Bobuvesiki Brahudhana, Bobuhanavesiki Yudamuda, Nagamuhana Yamudhana Yudamuda, President Gari Pellam, Yamaleela and Murari.

As a producer, he had funded blockbusters such as Kodama Simham, Muddula Mogudu, and Bangaru Kutumbam. He is the presenter of the KGF films. The actor received the National Nandi Award and the National Raghupathi Venkaiah Award.
