With a personal investment of £ 4million, Graham Watson, owner of Crimple since 2013, created a 20,000 square foot dining hall including a 160 seat restaurant and outdoor event spaces available for weddings, parties and corporate events, with sustainability high on the agenda.
Crimple Food Hall will feature over 50 specialty producers, offering a massive 12-meter-long butcher; a juice bar; bakery; pastry shop; deli and cheese counter; fresh fruits and vegetables; milk float; take-out food; ready meals, pizzas and fresh fish produced in store; horticultural store; and a granary.
The striking design of the building refers to farm buildings through a series of interconnected barn-like shapes defined by the location of Crimple Valley.
The family business also ensured that the timber clad building had a highly sustainable program.
